Who we are

Apex Job Pro is software for plumbing and home service businesses, made by Apex Gateway LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It covers this website, the Apex Job Pro web app and the Apex Job Pro mobile apps.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, business name, email, phone number and the people you add to your account.
• Business data you put in the app: your customers, jobs, estimates, invoices, price book, photos, notes and messages. You own this data. We process it on your behalf to run the service.
• Payment details: card and bank payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. Full card numbers are entered with Stripe and are not stored on our servers.
• Location: when a technician is clocked in, the mobile app may record location so the office can see where the crew is. It stops when they clock out.
• Website forms: the name and phone number or email you send when you book a walkthrough.
• Technical data: device type, browser, IP address, pages visited and error logs, used to keep the service secure and working.

How we use it

• To provide, maintain and support the service, including sign-in codes and account alerts.
• To send the texts and emails you and your team send to your customers through the app.
• To process payments and bill your subscription.
• To answer your requests, including walkthrough bookings.
• To keep accounts secure, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.
• To improve the product, using aggregated information that does not identify your customers.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the service, under contracts that limit their use of it: hosting and storage, payment processing (Stripe), texting and calling (Twilio), email delivery, and mapping. If you connect an outside tool such as QuickBooks Online, we share the data that connection needs, at your direction.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

Mobile numbers and text messaging: no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except the providers that deliver the messages.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. After you cancel, your account stays readable and your data stays available to export. You can ask us to delete it at any time, and we will, except where we must keep records by law, such as billing and tax records.

How we protect it

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to people who need it, and sign-in uses a one-time code. No system is perfectly secure, so we also watch for problems and will tell you if a breach affects your data.

Your choices and rights

You can see, correct, export or delete your information by contacting us at contact@apexjobpro.com. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have rights to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising.

If you are a customer of a business that uses Apex Job Pro, that business controls your information. Contact them first, and we will help them answer you. You can stop texts from a business at any time by replying STOP.

Cookies

This website uses only the cookies and storage it needs to work. We do not use advertising cookies.

Children

Apex Job Pro is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and tell account owners by email before the change takes effect.
